Throne of Miscellania takes the player on an adventure surrounding Fremennik Island. This is where King Vargas had the misfortune of becoming a Yeti, and due to that, Vargas is now looking for a worthy candidate to rule the kingdom on his behalf.

Walkthrough
Head to Miscellania using the longboat from Rellekka. You’ll need Flowers soon, so if you don’t already have them, you can get them from the Flower Girl at the castle in Miscellania. She’ll be wandering around in the courtyard.
Now, climb up the castle, and to your southwest, you’ll find King Vargas. You can begin the quest by speaking to him. He’ll give you the opportunity to rule the kingdom if you agree to marry his son or daughter, win over the population, and build bridges with Etceteria.
Princess Astrid
If you’re a male character, you need to head north of the throne room to speak with Astrid. She’ll give you a chance to impress her, and that’s when the Flowers come in. Make sure you agree to whatever she says. After handing over the flowers, you need to use the Dance emote to show off your skills.
Keep the conversation going until there isn’t any option left. After which you need to Bow in front of her. Now, continue speaking to her until she calls you ‘Dear’ and you respond with ‘Darling’. Use the Blow Kiss emote and hand her a Ring. Once she agrees to the marriage, you can let the King know.
Price Brand
If you’re a female character, you need to head south of the throne room to speak with Brand. He’ll give you a chance to impress him. It’s the same with Astrid but with Brand, you have to give the most favorable answers until he asks you if you would like to hear his poem. Appreciate his efforts and choose the ‘Be still, my heart’ option, followed by the Clap or Cheer emote.
Now, he’ll want you to hear his saga, so continue with that and give him a Cake at the end. Next, he’ll call you his ‘Darling’, and that’s when you have to use the Blow Kiss emote. Moving on, hand him the Ring and he’ll agree to the marriage. Finally, let the King know about it.
Etceteria
When you head to the King, you’ll also find his advisor next to him. He’ll ask you to speak to Queen Sigrid to restore peace with the neighboring kingdom. So, head east and cross the bridge to reach Etceteria. Continue east to find a large building in which resides the Queen (central room).
Start by telling the queen that the King has sent you to make peace. After that head back to the King and update him on the progress. Then, head back to the Queen asking her to change the national anthem. She’ll now task you with writing a new one.
Go back to Miscellania and speak to Prince Brand who will agree to write a new anthem. Now, speak to the King’s Advisor who’ll make a few changes, and then take it to Queen Sigrid. Exchange the anthem for a treaty and take it to the King.
The King now requires a special pen to sign the treaty. So, head towards the northern shores and speak to Derrik. Give him your Iron Bar and he’ll make you a Giant Nib. Use it on your logs to create a Giant Pen. Finally, take it back to the King and he’ll sign the document.
Miscellania
The last task is to gain the support of the Miscellanian Citizens. For this, you’ll need to get your progress bar to at least 75%. Make sure you don’t kill or steal from them or you’ll end up back to 25%.
Every action you perform gets you 0.33% of support. You can get updates on your progress from Advisor Ghrim. Support can be gained in several ways, such as using Rake on the herbs and flax located around the palace walls. Alternatively, you can chop down Maple trees, mine Coal, or fish Lobsters and other fishes. Once you reach 75% support, speak to the King to complete the quest.
