OSRS Morytania Diary Guide

The Morytania Diary is a part of the Old School RuneScape platform, where players perform various tasks to complete parts of the Achievement Diary. Quest Requirements & Tasks

During your journey, you will have to complete certain quests to progress further. We’ll discuss the quests along with the tasks, but do remember that you must at least start The Great Brain Robbery because it’s quite important.

The first task is to go through the Kharyll Portal via your Portal Chamber and to do that, you will first need to complete The Desert Treasure quest. If you don’t already have a chamber built, then you can make one using Limestone Bricks x2, a Hammer, a Saw, Teak Planks x3, Law Runes x200, and Blood Runes x100 at your Player-Owned House.

In the second task, you need to head to the Slayer Tower, and go to the north-eastern part of the middle floor, where you have to climb using the advancing spike chains.

The third task is to harvest Watermelon Seeds on Harmony Island. So, to the herb patches with three seeds and farming supplies, and grow them. This process will take about 80 minutes, and this is the task where you will at least need to have started The Great Brain Robbery quest.

For the fourth task, you will need to complete the Cabin Fever quest first, as it requires chopping and burning Mahogany Logs that are located on Mos Le’Harmless.

The fifth task is about temple trekking with a hard companion, which will require you to finish the ‘In Aid of the Myreque and Darkness of Hallowvale’ quests.

Similar to the fourth task, the Cabin Fever quest is also required to complete the sixth task, because you will need to kill the Slayer monsters called Cave Horrors in the Mos Le’Harmless cave.

Moving onto the seventh task, you need to harvest Bittercap Mushrooms in Canifis with the help of Mushroom Spores and farming supplies.

The eighth task is about praying at the Nature Altar. It does sound simple, but you will need to complete the quest Nature Spirit first in order to complete the task.

The ninth quest is related to an Agility shortcut that you can take to reach the bridge over the Salve. You can reach there by using the Fairy Ring (Code cks) and then heading northwest.

Finally, there’s the Haunted Mine, which you have to visit and ‘mine’ Mithril Ores. You will only need a Pickaxe for this, and you can easily reach there by using the mine cart network.

Rewards

After you have completed all the tasks, you will be rewarded with Morytania Legs 3, a Bonecrusher, and an Antique Lamp. You also gain shortcut access through the Estuary on Mos Le’Harmless, along with additional prayer for the Burning Shade Remains, Added Slayer Experience, and Runes from the Barrows’ chest. When you cast Bloom, you will be able to obtain twice the amount of Mort Myre Fungi, and when you exchange bones with the NPC named Robin, he will give you 26 pots of Bonemeal and a Bucket of Slime.

Once you’re done with the third task, head to the Canifis Bank and craft a Black Dragon Hide Body to complete the fourth task. You will need Dragon Leather x3, Needle, and Thread to craft the body piece.

Make your way to the Slayer Tower for your fifth task, which requires you to kill an Abyssal Demon. Don’t forget to bring along proper defensive armour and a good weapon along with you because they are dreadful creatures.

Finally, the last and the sixth task is to equip a Barrows set (any) while looting the Barrows chest itself. There are no quest requirements for the last three tasks, so you just need the skills to complete them.

Rewards

After the completion of Elite Morytania Diary, you will get Morytania Legs 4, and Robin will start offering you 39 Buckets of Slime and pots of Bonemeal instead of 26 when you trade him bones.
